Elm (Glarus/CH): Two Sunkid conveyor belts provide access to a newly opened kids’ arena on the “Sun terrace” of the ski resort
“For a long time it has been the dream of the Elm sports railway to relocate the beginner’s area in Eggli up to the mountain and transform it into a larger kids' arena," reveals Bruno Landolt, managing director of the Elm sports railway.
Thanks to the relocation of the kids’ arena to the "sunny first floor" of the ski resort, comfortable conditions can now be created which children and entire families gladly take advantage of. A significant contribution to the increase in comfort for beginners was made by two conveyor belts by Sunkid with a total length of 135 meters, which provide access to three ski slopes having various gradient conditions. The successful image of the new kids’ arena is rounded off by a variety of ski school aids, seating arrangements, as well as a teepee.
