Conveyor belt as a replacement for a T-bar lift
Hochkar (Austria): Two Sunkid conveyor belt with EVOLUS Gallery provides access to the newly developed Kids’ World
Located only 93 miles (150km) from Vienna, the Goestling-Hochkar ski resort stands as the largest ski area with the best snow guarantee in the foothills of the Austrian Alps. Given the proximity of the regional capital, many inhabitants brave their first steps in the snow at Hochkar. To offer these skiing novices an ideal environment, the Kids’ World or Beginners’ area was newly constructed and adapted. In the place where a T-bar lift took beginners up the hill before, now stands a 305-foot (93m) long Sunkid conveyor belt with a conveyor width of 29 inches (750mm), as well as an additional installation featuring a length of 127 feet (39m) and a 23-inch (600mm) wide conveyor belt. Both are covered with the EVOLUS Gallery.
