Lots of fun with snow tubing
Fondo Gallio/Asiago (Italy): Two Sunkid conveyor belts open up an enchanting tubing paradise for children and those young at heart
The sunny plateau of Asiago is located not far from the northern Italian city of Vicenza (Veneto). The plateau isn't necessary elevated at such a high level, but due to the geographical location, the snow conditions are very reliable.
Cross-country skiing and winter hiking enthusiasts will primarily enjoy this plateau. But now there is a very interesting alternative scene emerging, which children and those young at heart will take particular pleasure of. This is the Campomulo Snow Fun Park, which is a true paradise for spending a wonderful day in the snow with the family. The pièce de résistance of this snow adventure world is the two Sunkid conveyor belts with a total length of approx. 656 feet (200m), which unlock a total of 9 snow tubing slopes. These range from very cozy family runs to a "Kamikaze" descent.
The terrain in the Snow Fun Park is absolutely perfect for such a facility. Both conveyor belts even run up the opposite slopes, thus the offshoots of all the runs are cleverly re-routed together again back in the center of the facility. This allows visitors to quickly change courses between the individual slopes, ensuring that boredom is kept at bay.
Both conveyor belts are 258 feet (87m) and 354 feet (108m) long as well as 0.23 inch (600mm) wide. Both are driven by their own 11 KW motor. This also enables the reliable transport of winter sports fans at a frequent high capacity.
