Sölli's Marble Race
The new adventure playground right by the mountain station at the Söllereck makes children's hearts beat faster.
The Obersdorfer Bergbahnen and their long-term partner Sunkid managed to set up a project that brings children and families to the focus once again: the Sölli Express. This new offer centres on the XXL snow groomer, already presented at the Interalpin 2019.
A slide, climbing wall and wooden marble runs turn it into a multifunctional toy. The special film lamination of the snow groomer is an unexpected highlight on wooden playing equipment, says Henrik Volpert, chairman of the Oberstdorfer Bergbahn AG. The first rays of the sun bring the snow groomer to life. They make it sparkle and shine along with the rising sun. A beautifully set-up photo point ensures the perfect location to anchor the mountain panorama and the snow groomer shining as brightly as the children's eyes in the memories of even those who had to stay back home.
After the snow groomer has provided some initial experience with the wooden marbles, the young adventurers and their parents can have excited races on the world's longest wooden marble run. Three marble runs with a total length of 200 metres will take them back towards the valley station. The operators enjoy these wooden marble runs, towers and the playing equipment just as much as their many visitors. After all, these are probably the only wooden toys that will bring plenty of turnover from sales to achieve a return on invest within just a few years.
