Every Looping Counts in the Time Loop
The Loopster in the Tekzone stands out with its LED design and interactive "Scoring System"
A theme park that is unique to date was recently opened in the largest shopping centre in Kuwait: the Tekzone. Inspired by the most exciting virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) concepts, the Tekzone combines more than 60 different experiences into an innovative and extremely modern entertainment experience on an area exceeding 4000 sqm. The Loopster by Sunkid Heege, customised into the Time Loop, is at the centre of it all.
The Loop family has always raised enthusiasm with the option of making infinite numbers of turns overhead during a ride. Special software was added for its use in the Tekzone, to record the loops independently of direction after each start with a scoring system. The results are displayed on a screen next to the Loopster at the end of the ride. If your name, which is recorded via an RFID chip in the bracelet, appears on the panel, you'll know you won the ride. This scoring-system is used in all attractions in the Tekzone, so that the day's winners will also be determined and displayed via further screens.
Since the Tekzone comes with plenty of coloured lights, it was a matter of course to illuminate the Time Loop properly as well. Specifically developed LED components can be controlled individually by the operator and changed in colour – which makes for a cool effect in the space-like dark surroundings.
