More than 30 new characters and game elements make lessons more colorful and varied
With a selection of colorful figures and versatile play elements, a course was created on the Seiser Alm (Italy) for the 2025/2026 season that offers young winter sports enthusiasts playful incentives and enriches ski instruction from an educational perspective.
When putting together the products, the Ski School already had a specific vision in mind: “Last winter, we wanted to set up a small course with figures, and Sunkid products were perfectly suited for this,” explains Maximilian Profanter, technical director of the Schlern 3000 Ski School.
It was important not only to use the elements as decoration but to integrate them specifically into the children’s curriculum. Take, for example, the Native American figures and the teepee: “On the one hand, the kids have a visual aid, and on the other, they enjoy interacting directly with the chief and the teepee,” Profanter continues.
The new Sunny Stuff figures transform the course into a themed adventure world tailored for children. In addition to the characters already mentioned, a witch, tree figures, and tree stumps ensure varied slalom runs. A police officer and a traffic light round out the scene and provide additional opportunities for playful exercises.
Variety is also a key focus with the other products included in the delivery. Different-colored stubbies, as well as red, blue, yellow, and green “give-me-five” hands, and the “Triple Clap” play element round out the equipment. Monster High/Low, Twister, and a play mat bring extra movement to everyday ski school life and inspire ski instructors to come up with ever-new exercises—all based on imaginative stories they create themselves.
The concept is well-received by instructors and students alike. Feedback from the Ski School is correspondingly positive: “The instructors are very satisfied, the kids are having a lot of fun—everything is just as it should be,” summarizes Maximilian Profanter.
