Two newly designed sections provide over 200 yards of rolling wooden ball fun!

The family mountain Oberstdorf offers a great leisure experience for the whole family. Since the end of July, the Söllereckbahn has been enriched by another highlight. The XXL ball run "Söllis Kugelrennen" surprises with two newly designed sections and expands the two sections already existing since 2017.

Once in possession of the ball, the young and old guests start into the rolling fun. The start is made by the new section "Adler7" - the first section of a total of four. The 33-meter-long track consists of two parallel sections - ideal for a little family race. Once the wooden balls get going, they roll through a telescope on both sides, past cowbells and through the "Wedding Flight" station. A curved track and the "Mountains" and "Eagle" stations ensure the continuation of the exciting race. At the end of the first track, the winner of the section is the one whose ball lands first in the final vat.

After a short hike along the Schönblickweg, the second section follows: "The Forest Railway". On the 50 meters, a course consisting of a funnel, spirals, a wave track and a maze of columns awaits young and old players. A special highlight of the course is the ball slalom at the end. This is followed by Section 3, the second new element of Sölli's ball race: The wave track. The ten-meter-long track leads through a slalom, a wave section and ends with a catch area for the ball. The final finish lane with its 57 meters is the crowning glory at the end of the track.

The course of the ball race track is also the hiking trail down into the valley - making the hike a breeze for young and old.

The wooden balls for Sölli's ball race are available at the valley station or next to the mountain station of the Söllereckbahn for 3 euros and can be taken home as a souvenir after playing.
