Especially in times of corona, ball tracks create new space and help increase capacity and dwell time.
Since August 2020, the "Almrausch" playground at the top station of the Gartnerkofel lift in Nassfeld has a new attraction: the Almrausch ball track.
The Almrausch Ball Adventure starts directly at the top station of the Gartnerkofel lift: The Wooden Ball Tracks with around ten different stations extends over a length of approximately 60 meters. You can pick up the wooden ball at the mountain station for two euros and then get started: at the individual stations, the ball overcomes mazes, cowbells, funnels and many other obstacles. The varied route creates exciting sounds and noises. The children accompany their ball from the start to the finish - this ensures lots of fun and action. That is why the ball track "Almrausch" is considered the attraction par excellence by young and old.
Of course, you can chase the ball through the track as often as you like to top your siblings' record or your own! And best of all, the wooden ball has been branded with the playground's leading figure, the alpine bush, and can be taken home as a souvenir. "It's very important to us to make Nassfeld even more attractive for locals and guests every year," says entrepreneur and Nassfeld investor Klaus Herzog. "The concept of the Wooden Ball Tracks immediately excited me!"
In summer 2019, a Wooden Ball Tracks was also built in Silvretta Montafon's Alpenwelt Nova and another in the area of Bergbahnen Rosshütte.
In addition to ball tracks, which are typically installed on a slope (like a beginner ski slope), Sunkid also offers a Wooden Ball Track Towers as an attraction. It's the same principle with a wooden ball in a track. But it is a centralized attraction that can be individually themed, of course. Now this ball track tower comes in different sizes.
