Enlarged individual playground increases the attractiveness of the local bathing lake
Last summer, the Austrian year-round vacation resort of See celebrated the opening of the huge Wood'n'Fun "Bear World" at the Medrigjochbahn mountain station. This year, the second section of the individual children's play world made of wood was realized by Sunkid together with the Styrian cooperation partner Almholz.
A huge double-tower play area with the destination's logo is clearly visible to all locals and tourists from the Paznauntal-street, the valley's main traffic route. It offers young adventurers climbing fun on various levels, a lattice tunnel as an "airy" connecting path between the towers and fast-paced adventures on one of the two blue slides.
In addition to this highlight, the idyllically situated playground offers the little guests of the play, sports and water park or kiosk a successful change from splashing around and chilling out. Visually, the play equipment made from Austrian mountain larch is always inspired by the element of water.
The second, slightly smaller play tower, for example, features wobbly suspension bridges in a wave design that connect three platforms with a slide, climbing wall and net. Another wave slide, like almost all the other plastic elements, is in dark blue - See's central corporate design color. In addition, a colorful tree carousel provides fun, dizzying rides on several levels and a swing set with a double swing for unforgettable shared experiences.
The little ones have their own play equipment with flat platforms and easy-to-climb ladders - with fun portholes to look through and a rotating tic-tac-toe game. There are also two Wooden Ball Tracks integrated into the area with various obstacles and loud bell elements - offering enormous fun over a total length of 42 meters. The corresponding balls can be purchased from the ball machine at the kiosk for 2 euros each.
Many thanks to Badesee See GmbH and its owners - the municipality and Bergbahnen See - for the opportunity to help shape the region's summer offerings in two locations to such an extent.
