A double pack of inspiration with Butterfly and Sunrider

"Tingling in the stomach" and "fun on the move" with Sunkid Family Rides in Lüneburger Heide Wildlife Park (Germany)

Place: Hanstedt /Year: 2025 / Product: Family Rides

Lüneburger Heide Wildlife Park - around 40 kilometers south of Hamburg - is one of the largest and most species-rich animal parks in northern Germany. Families can discover over 1,200 animals from 40 species, explore forest and heathland trails or romp around the extensive adventure playground. Two family rides from Sunkid provide even more variety and movement: the "Butterfly", often referred to as the "smallest roller coaster in the world", and a "Sunrider" with a realistic animal design.

The green and red Butterfly, together with the look of the wooden fence surrounding it, blends in perfectly with the idyllic forest, animal enclosures and play zones. After the (maximum of two) passengers have been pulled up the track, the carriage abruptly disengages and the exciting pendulum ride - from one side to the other with the help of gravity - begins. In this way, the Butterfly offers many children (from 105 cm in height) their first adrenaline-filled experience with G-forces.

Another highlight is the new Sunrider, which is not only fun to ride, but also visually impressive. The vehicles bear a striking resemblance to the goats in the park. Unlike the real animals, these can neither be fed nor stroked, but they invite you to sit on them and ride off. And once you've got the hang of it and set the Sunrider in motion, nothing stands in the way of a lively race with the goat on the other track.

We are delighted with the feedback from the wildlife park that the two Sunkid rides are very popular with young visitors and wish all passengers lots of "funny butterflies in their stomachs" and "wild goats under the saddle".
