Sunrider’s “HopplaHopp” Brings Energy to the Ruhpolding Amusement Park (Germany)

With a Sunkid Sunrider, the Ruhpolding amusement park has expanded its offerings to include an interactive family attraction where guests power the ride themselves. The ride consists of two parallel tracks featuring two differently designed horses: one in dark brown with a black mane, the other in beige with a white mane.

Instead of simply riding along, guests get active themselves: by pulling and pushing the hand lever and shifting their weight rhythmically, they set their horse in motion and determine the direction of their ride (forward or backward). Whether it’s a leisurely ride or a little race—dexterity, coordination, and physical effort make every lap a unique experience.

The park has aptly named the new Family Ride “HopplaHopp – the Horse Riding Track” and describes it as follows: “The new attraction promises lots of fun for riders and, of course, for spectators along the track.” In addition, those interested can find both illustrated safety instructions and a coloring page for young fans on the park’s website.
