"Nocky's SchneeZeit" on the Turracher Höhe (Austria) with a new covered Moving Carpet
In November 2025, the Turracher Höhe ski resort opened "Nocky's SchneeZeit", a modern, lovingly designed children's area where the youngest can "playfully discover the fun of winter sports". Nestled in the picturesque mountain world between Carinthia and Styria, a world of experience has been created that combines emotion, technology and safety in a special way.
The centerpiece of the new practice area is a 47-meter-long, covered Moving Carpet. Thanks to the Sunkid gallery, it not only offers comfort and protection in all weathers, but also ensures fast and safe transportation up the mountain for all young winter sports enthusiasts, even during the busy peak season. Powered by an 11 kW motor, a transport capacity of up to 1,900 people per hour at a speed of 0.7 m/s is possible. A belt tensioning device with chain hoist ensures efficient and reliable operation of the system.
The modern EVO-N gallery can be closed at both ends with solid hinged doors to protect the components from penetrating ice and snow at night. The emergency exit is designed with a smooth-running and elegant slide-up door.
