Two Type N conveyor belts replace long-serving systems in Kinderland

We at Sunkid are delighted that the customer relationship with the Filzmoos Ski School (Salzburger Land, Austria), which has lasted more than 25 years, has been successfully continued with the purchase of new conveyor belts. To replace two outdated systems, a 13-metre Moving Carpet was delivered and put into operation in 2024 and a 17-metre Moving Carpet in 2025.

Both new Moving Carpets will be used in the Ski School's children's area close to the village center and will help the youngest beginners to reach two differently "steep" areas safely and comfortably. The first conveyor belt is used to climb the very flat lower slope. And those who dare to go a little higher and slightly steeper can turn right at the top and reach Moving Carpet number two via a blue ascent carpet. Here, too, the ascent - on the tried-and-tested "Blue Eye" belt surface - is absolutely non-slip.

Both Moving Carpets of the latest "Type N" generation guarantee smooth operation at a maximum speed of 0.7 m/s as well as easy assembly and disassembly before and after the winter season. Digital and analog control elements are located on the top of the control cabinets - under a hinged, weatherproof polycarbonate protective cover. The highlight for operators and users of these supposedly "short and simple" systems are the multi-touch HMI displays with their intuitive operating system - including four different password-protected user groups, each with a defined release of functions and a digital maintenance schedule.
