Star Lifts delivers 120-meter conveyor belt to Whitefish Mountain Resort

Whitefish Mountain Resort is located near Glacier National Park in the US state of Montana. Opened in 1947, the ski resort regularly achieves top positions in reader surveys conducted by US industry magazines - in the categories of price-performance ratio and service. With an altitude of around 1,361 meters above sea level and a summit level of around 2,087 meters, it offers snow-safe skiing fun for people of all ages.

With a wide range of summer and winter attractions, the resort creates a family-friendly atmosphere and offers unforgettable experiences for young and old. For the 2023/24 winter season, the aim has been set to further expand the "Ski & Ride" learning area in order to reduce waiting times for transporting guests up the mountain, among other things. To achieve this, a new 120-metre-long Moving Carpet was ordered from Sunkid's US subsidiary Star Lifts and installed on time.

This is how the customer describes it on Instagram: "The "2 Easy" Moving Carpet will effectively double our beginner area equipped with conveyor belts [...] and provide more space for our Ski School and beginners to learn the sport we all love".

The EVOLUS-M gallery offers all beginner skiers a comfortable ascent protected from wind and weather. It also allows the operator to start operations quickly in the morning thanks to double doors at the bottom and top stations - without having to clear snow from the conveyor belt. The customer opted for split gallery arches to optimize international delivery (Austria - USA) and to simplify assembly. In addition, the entire exit area, including the drive station and operating terminal, is covered with a larger EVOLUS XL gallery.
