Sunkid Moving Carpet in the center of the "Bike Skills Park Kreuzboden" (Switzerland)
The Saas Valley in Upper Valais, Switzerland, is a real insider tip in the mountain bike scene. Whether it's a practice course, a fast flow or a challenging single trail: there is something for bikers of all ages and skill levels on around 80 kilometers.
The Saas-Grund - Kreuzboden - Hohsaas area is the central hotspot. With the "Bike Skills Park Kreuzboden", which opened in 2021, it offers three varied short trails where young and old can get their money's worth.
The three downhill variants are color-coded according to difficulty (green, blue and red) and range in length from 393 to 485 meters with a difference in altitude of 32 meters each.
In order to complete as many practice descents as possible before venturing onto the longer and steeper trails, a Sunkid Moving Carpet transports all mountain bikers uphill quickly, safely and comfortably.
The ascent aid was supplied by Borer Lift AG to the Hohsaas mountain railroads for their beginner ski area back in 2009. Since 2021, the Moving Carpet has been doing its job just as reliably for more mountain bike enthusiasts every year.
