Resort Yuzawa Kogen increases the experience factor for families with Sunkid products
Sunkid sold its first Moving Carpet for the Japanese market in the 1997 financial year to its Japanese distribution partner Nippon Cable. By the end of the 2024 financial year, a total of 224 Moving Carpets had been sold to Japan.
Two Sunkid conveyor belts were recently installed in the "Snow Play Park" at Yuzawa Kogen Resort in Niigata Prefecture, where visitors can play safely in the snow. One of them is equipped with a gallery and, with a total length of around 100 meters, is one of the longest covered conveyor belts for snow sports in Japan. The second facility is a standard model.
The Moving Carpet with gallery in particular offers unrivaled comfort in changeable weather conditions such as snow, rain or strong winds. It also offers significant advantages in terms of ease of maintenance for operators, as it facilitates tasks such as snow removal and various maintenance work during prolonged snowfall.
In addition to the two new conveyor belts, numerous products from the "Sunny Stuff" range were installed throughout the park in the 2024/2025 season, making the snow experience even more interactive and emotional.
